
Project Details
The State Data Centre is being planned to provide centralized delivery of services to reach the people in the urban & rural segments. Chhattisgarh State Data Centre would provide the infrastructure required for consolidating the databases from the blocks and also for providing online services to citizens at villages / urban areas. Chhattisgarh State Data Centre will also provide web services through which information can be shared securely with other key organizations like financial institutions, legal bodies etc.Chhattisgarh State Data Centre will be located centrally and connected to the remote block servers using the State Wide Area Network (SWAN) of the State. Chhattisgarh State Data Centre (CGSDC) is the most important element of the core infrastructure for Hosting and supporting e-Governance initiatives of National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).Chhattisgarh State Data Centre (CG-SDC) was set up with Technical and Financial assistance provided by the Department of Information Technology .Govt. of India.
Milestones
- Chhattisgarh InfoTech & Biotech Promotion Society (Chips), a society under the Govt. of Chhattisgarh is the State Implementing agency (SIA) for State Data Centre
- CG-SDC is a Tier II Data Center with a guaranteed availability of 99.749%
- SDC FAT signoff completed on 28 Feb, 2013 and declared as operational and M/s Sify technologies have been selected as Data Center Operator
- M/s PWC is Appointed as Third Party Auditor for Conducting Audits
- CGSDC awarded as ISO 27001:2005 certified for security and ISO 20000 certified for service
- Chhattisgarh State Data Center becomes member of IRINN (Indian Registry for Internet Names and Numbers) for providing IPv4 and IPv6 pool addresses
- Total number of racks that can be accommodated in server firm area: 50 Racks
- SDC is currently live with 28 State Government department Websites/Applications like. CMDASHBOARD,CMO Chhattisgarh, Choi ce, GIS, E-district, Wi-Fi City , NRDA, SUDA, CGMSC, CGSAU, Campus Connect
- Another NKN lease line of 1GBps from Railtel is connected with SDC and 155 Mbps Secondary leased line from Airtel is already connected with SDC
- Disaster Recovery Center for the Chhattisgarh State Data Center located in NDC Delhi
- Integration of all applications and locations to the State Data Centre
- Conducting System Performing Tests and User Acceptance Tests
- Identification of Training Partner to impart training to all Users in Government
- Installation of efficient monitoring systems to monitor the performance of hardware and equipments
- NIC (National Informatics Center) Hosted their Server At State Data Center for Providing Service to State Department of Food
