36 Inc is the proposed incubator of the the government of Chhattisgarh.36Inc has been chosen as one of the three new incubators in the non-academic category to be an Atal Innovation Centre. It was chosen from around 2000 applicants. As an Atal Innovation Centre it will be at the forefront of entrepreneurship development initiatives in the region and the country as well.

Spread over 30,000 sq ft, it will have about 200 workstations, 8 meeting rooms, Auditorium, Cafeteria and other such amenities. It will provide flexible working space, common business facilities and several other amenities to aspiring startups of Chhattisgarh. Startups need access to mentors, business experts and business networks. 36Inc intends to facilitate that. 36inc will also have a Fablab for rapid prototyping, an IoT lab and a multimedia lab.

36 Inc intends to be an incubator of incubators by working on a hub and spoke model. It will have partnerships with educational institutions across the state and will 36nc has already forged partnerships with several leading institutions. The Fablab will be part of MIT’s international network of fab-labs. Wadhwani foundation is partnering to give access to their network of mentors, entrepreneurship training programs, etc.

It is to be set up right in the center of the city in a high foot fall area so that the visibility of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the city of Raipur increases.The first set of entrepreneurs to be housed in 36inc have already been selected and will be coming into the space shortly.
