Job Title: Manager – Program & Business Development

Location: 36INC, City Mall, Pandri, Raipur

Job Purpose
The Program & Business Development Manager is a unique position that requires the attention and oversight of an individual who has small business and/or program development experience. The position will require the person to manage day to day affairs of the incubator and to be empathetic to the needs and requirements of the incubatees.

Main duties:
• Manage administration of all aspects of running of the incubator
• Continuously onboard partners and create events
• Reach out to government departments to coordinate activities and to aggregate demand
• Organise event for incubates
• Basic small business coaching and business plan oversight

• Customer Focus (internal & external) – Able to anticipate and understand customer expectations, and ensure customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed. Able to build professional relationships with incubatees, and focus on solving their problems.
• Communication – Good communication skills suitable for the liaison with departmental staff and senior management. Demonstrate good communication, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients and customers including producing reports, preparing, organising and delivering presentations using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Planning and Organising – Good at determining a course of action by breaking it down into smaller steps and by planning and resourcing each of these, making allowance for potential problems.
• Innovation, Flexibility and Adaptability – Undertake tasks with a positive attitude and respond well to management and client requests. Working locations may include a variety of BPP and client sites. Must be prepared to meet business goals and respond well to change.

Skills, qualifications and experience required
• Background in Small business / entrepreneurship
• Event management experience
• Experience in conducting classes / mentoring is preferred
• Demonstrated connects with the local community, especially colleges and businesses, will be aadded advantage
• Qualified (graduate or postgraduate) in Engineering or Management
